Happy New Year from Your Literary Prose! 2024 is here so you might be asking, “What’s in store for ’24 from Your Literary Prose?” We are excited to share a few new things coming to you all during the upcoming year. Last week we kicked-off 2024 with a great email newsletter where we covered a lot of what we mention below. If you haven’t yet, be sure to subscribe to stay in touch with us over the coming weeks and months.
The Author’s Voice
First, our biggest announcement from last year is we partnered with CaZ, a fellow Certified Author Assistant, to launch The Author’s Voice. The Author’s Voice revived the Author Assistant and Speaker Assistant certification programs CaZ and Colleen took. The new iteration of the programs is called The Author’s Voice . We look forward to bringing new author focused trainings and updated publishing information.
The Author’s Voice is the official education partner for Your Literary Prose! We’ll be adding some links to The Author’s Voice on our site and have some great content and education opportunities to share with you.
Blank Page to Bestseller
Second, along with the training and education programs at The Author’s Voice, we have created a weekly podcast, Blank Page to Bestseller which releases every Tuesday. Each week we talk about recent publishing news, tips for writers, and interview publishing professionals.
What’s in store for Blank Page to Bestseller this year? We plan to make this the premier podcast for publishing. Join Colleen, CaZ, and me for great conversations about writing, publishing, and marketing. We invite you to check it out!
2024 Writing Prompts
So what’s in store for our social media this year?
We’re always looking for new ways to help writers. In 2024 we’re starting something we hope will help inspire you to write more. We are excited to share one writing prompt with you every day! We’ll have a post each morning on Facebook and Instagram so be sure to follow Your Literary Prose on each of those sites. Consider writing 15 minutes a day and at the end of the year you’ll have written over 91 hours!
It’s always fun to look ahead at what’s to come and we’re excited to see where the year takes us. Be sure to follow along with everything we’re doing here and on our social media channels.
