Steps to launching your product or service – Part 2:
Building Relationships Through Social Media
- Relationship – definition: the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.
- Social media – definition: forms of electronic communication (Web sites for social networking and microblogging) through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content (perhaps through videos).
When trying to spread the word about a new product/program/service, most people choose to share it through social media. In the past couple of weeks we have been diligently working on updating our social media platforms, following new people, etc. While social media is a great tool it does take time and effort to appropriately use. These platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others are just one way for you and your company to establish a good relationship with your customers, your providers, and other like-minded companies.
