Three Goals in Six Weeks: Finishing Strong in 2019

November 19, 2019 by Peter Wietmarschen Leave a Comment

When you take a quick glance at 2019 you’ll see there are 6 weeks left in the year. That’s about 11% percent of the year remaining. Not a whole lot of time, right? Wrong! There is still plenty of time left in 2019 for you to complete three goals!

Setting Three Goals for 2019

I know, we’ve been advocating for you to look forward towards 2020. It’s okay to do that but for those of you just starting out or trying to finish 2019 on a high note it’s not too late for us to really make 2019 great. Today we have 6 weeks left in the year, plenty of time to clamp down and complete a few projects. Take a few minutes out of your week and brainstorm three projects you can complete in the next six weeks. They don’t have to be huge productions, they more than likely will be smaller, easier to complete projects. Write down any and all goals you can think of first. They can be goals like signing a new client or filling your monthly coaching program. You could be like us and set the goal of consistent blog posts. Still others might want to create a marketing plan for 2020 or add 100 people to your email list. It does not matter what goals you write on your list, it’s just important you have a list.

Finalizing Your Three Goals

Once you have a list of goals take some time to find the goals you not only want to complete but also are capable of completing. You also want to reach outside of your company for a bit of advice. Many times we are too close to our own company to really see what’s best. Here is where an accountability buddy or a business coach comes into play. Having someone who is looking out for your best interests is crucial to helping you make decisions. We all work better when we have a partner to discuss our ideas with and when it comes to goal setting a coach or accountability buddy can help us stay clear. Talk with a few accountability buddies or your business coach to help make sure your three goals for the end of 2019 are CLEAR!

Staying the Course for 2019

There are many goals we can all accomplish for the end of 2019. Yes, there are holidays and celebrations at the end of the year but we can’t let these stand in our way of having a successful 4th quarter. There are many of you out there who need to push through and finish strong. If we let up the gas, even during the holiday season we risk running behind in the days, week, and months ahead. Our business coach once said, what we do now pays off in 90 days. If we let the holidays slip by we run the risk of having a slow March. Set your 2020 goals up for success and complete three goals in these last six weeks of 2019.
