November 12, 2019 by Peter Wietmarschen Leave a Comment

Saying Goodbye to 2019

The end of the year is coming up quickly and by my count we have less than 50 days left in 2019. How do you close out a year? It’s easy, you need to celebrate the goals you accomplished!

If you are a frequent reader of our blog you will know one of our most often stated tips is to set goals. No matter what you focus on in your project is t is crucial to have goals. You take your goals and add them to your calendar. After we finish our task we check it off our list and say that’s that. Well, not so quickly!

Celebrate The Goals You Accomplished

As the year ends we need to remind ourselves about the great things we accomplished in 2019. All too often we do not properly celebrate the goals we have accomplished. Being an entrepreneur usually means having little to no staff. It can feel difficult or odd to celebrate success on our own. When we don’t take the time to recognize our goals and our successes we tend to forget them. The end of the year is a great time to look back at our year to truly celebrate what you have done. Our first question for you, what have you accomplished this year? This list should include large successes and small successes. Maybe you wrote a new book or maybe you signed one client. Still others might celebrate downsizing their staff and refocusing your business on a new revenue stream. Others of you might be excited you launched a new coaching service or moved to a new office. Sometimes

Celebrate Your Year

Great, you know what you’ve accomplished this year! Now, it’s time to party! Take a day off to acknowledge you and your accomplishments. Grab brunch with a friend, go to salon and have your hair done, grab a dinner with your family, grab drinks with your colleagues. Take a full day off or a half day or even just an evening the only thing that matters is that you take the time to recognize your success! What is your plan to celebrate your year?

Celebrations and Success

Take the time to review all of the great things you accomplished this year and celebrate your successes! Take time away from work to celebrate and enjoy yourself, after all we all deserve a day to celebrate.
